So...the other day I was quietly riding in the back of my sister's SUV when my thoughts drifted back to that ride you gave me to that vipassana retreat last year...when out of nowhere, my 4 year old niece, sitting next to me, began singing "Pork and Beans"!! She'd learned it from the radio weeks before my arrival. Anyway, it was as surreal a moment as I've ever had. All that was missing was the sight of YOU, hitch-hiking by the side of the road in front of us.

Things I never thought I'd see:
1) Rivers Cuomo in a cowboy hat.
2) That's pretty much it.

Yeah, I'm teasing. I think you look good in western garb, but I would, wouldn't I?

I just heard the new CD. It's awesome, of course. "Dreamin" is my favorite so far, but I've only heard the CD twice so we'll see.

Things are ticking along pretty good here. The kids are out of school for the summer as of today. Yippee!! This means I get to drink a cup of coffee in the mornings in peace, sitting on the deck, watching the trees grow, instead of having to rush, rush, to get everybody off to school! Next year, I will have six kids in six different school systems, so that should be interesting.

The EURO starts this weekend. In case you didn't know...

YOU are taking horseback riding lessons?!?.....I'm sorry, but I just fell off my chair..:>..really, though, congrats on everything...including the onions--we have some growing but I did not actually plant them. It's good to have kids.

It's me Tatiana. How's your garden growing? My little herb garden is doing well. My Jamician great grandma's secret fertilizer is adding ground up egg shells to the soil. It's very organic and works well. Try it and see if it works for you.

Fun fact for the day: Did you know Orville Redenbaucher created over 30,000 hybrids before coming up with his super secret bigger popping pop corn kernals? He was in his 60s by the time he'd perfected the formula and almost 70 when he got famous. Talk about patience.
