Ciao ragazzi,

come forse già saprete, Linus (neodirettore artistico di Radio Capital) ha licenziato Sergio Mancinelli e Gegè Telesforo e quindi ha soppresso una bellissima trasmissione Cult come Area Protetta.
Un gesto che umilia un grande professionista come Sergio
e che offende il vasto pubblico che da anni seguiva la trasmissione.
Un pubblico però che non si arrende tanto facilmente e che già si sta mobilitando per far sentire la propria voce.

Sorry to bother my english-speaking friends, but Italy's best rock music radio program is about to be canceled - and the conductor fired - by one of Italy's most important national radio stations, Radio Capital. The reason: a new... "marketing" oriented consultant who decided "old stuff" like Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, Pink Floyd and many, many more rock classic - including contemporary Italian musicians- are not suitable for the Italian audience. Since the show, when broadcasted live in Italian theatres in 2006, drew in hundreds of fans, this move just seems the usual attempt to let ignorance win over good music... and culture. The radio station director, top journalist Vittorio Zucconi, italian correspondent from Washington DC, who's been living in the US for years, MUST be aware of this mistake.
