Dear friends, I want to thank you again for your support and contributions to the medical camp. Suraya and Joe worked non stop for 10 days in Peru coordinating and organizing the event. They enlisted the volunteer doctors and the village leaders, bought the medicines and medical supplies, distributed flyers to the village people and were able to provide pediatric and general medical services as well as the eye care to hundreds of people. Your support has directly impacted more than one man, women and child that otherwise would be unnoticed by society and without needed medical attention.



While in Lima , Suraya and Joe also visited a refuge for molested girls age 4 to 14 and abandoned handicap children. This refuge was founded by my sister and her friends and they asked Suraya and Joe for their support.



Suraya and Joe are themselves so touched by the people they were able to reach that are planning to go back in September to do another Medical Camp and also organize the big festival in February to raise money and awareness for the local area. They welcome volunteers and any support they can get. If you are interested in knowing more about their volunteer program or would like to know more about their plans please write directly to Suraya at holdon2peace@sbcglobal.net.

Que emociòn, alegria y orgullo siento de tener entre la familia a dos personas como ustedes con ese corazón tan lleno de amor para dar bienestar, salud y confort a los más necesitados, con esa sensibilidad social que Dios dá solo a tan pocos ; ojalá hubiera más personas como ustedes en el mundo, el mundo seria otro con personas como ustedes , que no solo piensan en los más necesitados y se lamentan de esta triste realidad , sino toman acción, se sacrifican en su tiempo y en su bolsillo y hacen realidad el milagro de compartir y hacer felices a los demás con total desprendimiento.

Estoy realmente muy feliz de ser su tia y cuenten conmigo siempre; y sigan en su apostolado de hacer el bien , !!!!!!! muchas felicitaciones !!!!!!!!
