Banaz Mahmod and Surjit Athwal have a lot in common. Both were put in arranged marriages, both grew unhappy and sought divorce and new relationships. Both were murdered in so-called ‘honour’ killings on the orders of their relatives. And in both cases, we believe those who carried out the killings are free, hiding from justice abroad. I'm so sorry that we have failed to protect Kareem's human rights, even with Amnesty International involved, we think we are SAFE living in the UK, I'm not so sure these days. Strength to Kareem and the fight is not over yet. X Stella

Vi i Världen (We in the world) is planning a festival in Västerås Sweden 14 july 2007. A festival to shine light on the problem our planet is in with the global warming. It is going to be a fantastic oppurtunity for us people to meet and see what WE can do together. Not to meet to throw stones but to meet and see how WE can work together to make this planet the wonderful world it can be. It is you and I that can do something about it.
