Finding One's "Home"
The thing that inspires me most in life is this person, who I would remain her anonymous because I guess it would better left if she was not named in this essay. This person inspires me so much, for what she has given me and I wish I could repay her back for everything she did for me. Ever since I came face to face with her, I was very amazed for what she has done for me. This girl has also opened my eyes to several things. Things that I never knew existed she showed me, just like a blink of an eye.
Everything this person had given me, I know I will be able to see how well my future will be. In my future I could see many things that would happen because of her I can look forward of the day for something exciting from her. The life in my future there will be a well paid job since she gave me knowledge to figure thing out on my own. Leadership, before I met this girl, I always followed with other people’s opinions, disagreements, agreements, and many other things. I really couldn’t do anything unless I was ordered to do it I was just a follower before but, when I met her I’m in the progress of taking charge of my own life. Without her guidance I would’ve been pushed around and abuse to do things I didn’t want to do. Instead she came in my life and I doubt that she will ever go out and won’t ever stop bothering me on whether I’m doing the right thing. If I had never met this girl I wouldn’t have been able to excel in things I never thought I could. I assume that without her my future would be pretty bleak and empty so far.
There would many obstacles in my path to the future, there is always is in everything’s or everyone’s future has an obstacles they need to get through. Sometimes they are able to pass all the obstacles and that they will proceed to what they expect. At other times they don’t always pass through all the problems along the path and they are given a different future to take. The obstacles I might have to face a

Fitting In
When I transferred to Canyon High School I didn’t know anyone so I was generally counted as an outcast. Ever since I stepped in to this school I felt very out of place, I didn’t know anyone how things go around this school. It seemed to me that, everyone knew each other it was very uncomfortable for me to be in the middle of all this. I really wished my parents hadn’t transferred me because I could’ve been with my friends in to the high school I was supposed to go to. Instead I was brought here counted as an outcast, who nobody knows or counted as different.
I felt very like I was lost on a stranded island, where nobody would come and rescue me. People would just forget about me and push me aside for something or someone better. There was this void I felt in me when I came to here; I had no friends here or anything to look ahead for. People would sometimes greet me one day but, the next day or two they would get mad at me or ignore me. They would just be my friend or acquaintance so they can use me to get what they want. Nothing is what I felt in me well not actually but, I felt like I was being pulled away by some force, while everyone else had a funny time with each other. As if I was never existed, no one came and help me out. Not even a hand to pull me out of the loneliness I had in myself ever, so I stayed there and wait until they would eventually come.
I missed every single friend I ever made in junior high; they were the people who helped me out when I was in tough situations. They helped me see things in different points of views, and make me have things to look forward to in my life. Get this, when I was informed that I was going to move to Anaheim Hills. Just after they said that I turned sad and alone but, my parents made it worse. When I complained about why were moving and what about my life, my friends, and all the years I lived here. They just went on saying that I should forget about the life I once have and all the people I am

Friendship, Neighborhood, Home
When I was young I moved from one house to another, so far I’ve lived in seven houses. The reason why I lived in so many houses is because my dad is part of a business where we live in a house until we make a facility for the mentally challenged. Out of all the places I’ve lived in the house I lived from before was my favorite. It was my favorite is y favorite house out of all the seven I been through because many things happened for those three years. It was the best three years of my life since my friends where there to make it a fun time.
The neighborhood of where I used to live was an ok one; we lived in front of an elementary school my younger brother used to attend, and also a park right next to it. There were some bad things in the neighborhood but, it never was constant. Sometimes you would see signs of people vandalizing the school.
In the neighborhood I knew only 3 families, they weren’t bad people, but they had their times. One of my neighbors turned out to be my little brothers best friend. The other neighbors were just acquaintances. My parents were good friends with them so most of the neighborhood was safe since we knew each other.
There are many memories I had when I was living in that house. One of them was when it was a week before my fourteenth birthday. I invited my friends with a get together; it was just a random day so I decide to invite all my friends over. They all asked if we could go to the park down the street. When we came there half of them told me they forgot to get something at the house and wanted me to stay at the park. At the park we did very random stuff, well half of my friends did. We did things like spin in circles to see who could walk correctly the best. Another thing we did was play hide in seek in the playgrounds. It was already an hour and they still didn’t come out.
I decided to go back to the house while I was on my way my friends dog piled me and said I can’t go to my house.

Self Definition and Identity Journal
Ariel Aaron E. Resurreccion is my name and the first, middle, last come from many origins. My first name is a very unusual one, instead of one word; my first name is made up of two surnames. Ariel means lion of god and Aaron means mountain, so when it’s combined my name means mountain lion of god. My parents didn’t give me that name because of the meaning it was because my father name was Ariel and my mother wanted me to have the bible name Aaron the big brother of Moses. They compromised and concluded of plugged together my names.
My middle name comes from my mom’s maiden name, my siblings and I share the same middle name. I got this middle name because my mom thought it would be traditional for every child of hers would have her married name as a middle name. When I was very young I didn’t even know I had a middle name. Until my cousin, Danika, told me she had a middle name and that I wanted what was my own. I asked my mom what it was and she was laughed at me for a while. She then finally told me my middle name was Euegino; I had a hard time figuring how to say it because it was pronounced differently than it was spelled. I got a little mad on how I had a hard time figuring how to say my middle name. Later when I got older, I soon to like my middle name and I now know how to spell and enunciate it.
I have a last name that I doubt no one else has, because it’s not a very popular last name, but people sometimes say that it’s a cool one though. My last name is Resurreccion, and also my last name is pronounced as if it was spelled resurrection. Many people I know had a very hard time to spell my last name especially the schools sometimes misspell it. One time I thought if I could earn money by asking people if they know how to spell my last name, if they won the prize is that I pay them five dollars, but if they couldn’t spell it correct I get the five dollars. When I started the game I had about twenty-five dollars so far.

Cut salt to keep children thin: study
By cutting down the amount of salt children eat, can give them a short-cut for keeping them slim. British researchers have found children who eat less salt, they also drink fewer sugary soft drinks, and because of this it could reduce the risk of high blood and obesity. Less intake of salt could lower the rate of heart attacks and strokes later in life. Dr. Feng of St. George’s University of London says that sugar- sweetened soft drinks are is the source of calorie intake of children. If children ages 4 through 18 cut their intake of salt by half, there we would be a decrease of two sugar sweetened soft drink per child, which would reduce calorie intake by about 250 kilcalories.
