Yeah AZ is definitely a place that I must visit, would be awesome :))) Just been soooo busy with work. Thought i'd have a quick holiday over there before the mad summer work. Been up the pub a few times yeah and got a few winners hahaha yaaaay!

Went to Cali again last month lol, but hope to go back again later this year hehehe! Weather in the UK is actualy the same temp as Cali right now.. im like wow!! Humidity is different tho, which makes it sticky here tho grr lol.

nahh, it starts i think june 16th to july 7th. only on the weekdays.

awe that's sad.
her name was betsy, she had a brain tumor, which turned into stage four cancer. and she just gave out. i was close to her, she was a teacher for first and second grade., and she had a sister, and she was only 35, it was a very sad day.

i can't wait for it!

hey girl! Glad to hear from you! Yeah, I've done that where I didn't even know someone wrote me then found it weeks later. LOL Strange how that happens. Anyway, Glad things are going well. Yeah, I know all about waiting on God's timing, hence my profile name! Taking things day by day and trusting Him daily. It's so much more peaceful that way.
The enemy has tried getting his way in, but we've been crushing him with warfare prayers! Amazing how powerful the name of Jesus is!

As for my writing, again, waiting on God's timing. Lots of hopefuls, but then the door is slammed shut, so not sure what God's got in mind, but again, trusting Him!! He hasn't failed me yet and never will.
I'll keep you posted should something big happen!

Never read that book, but the author sounds familiar. My sister LOVES Biblical prophecy, perhaps that's where I've heard the name. I know we're in the end times, no doubt, so I hear a lot from her about it.


Glad you're doing well! Keep in touch when you can and I"ll do the same.

Just checking in to see how you are doing. Wanted to let you know that you were on my mind. I have some down time until the end of Jan which is such a blessing! Yeh! My schedule was completely crazy this year so to spend time with family is wonderful.

It was mostly people that had left for one reason or another. Be it because they had moved or left for other reasons. Some people just need to search until they find the right fit for them I guess.

Aww that's sweet of Danielle to say! There's really nothing better than being uplifted & encouraged by the body of Christ, & most importantly, a close friend! We have gone through seasons of different types of use..I am in a place now that I am just happy to speak & share his words with anyone, in ANY way, certainly not limited to a pulpit, which I haven't done for quite some time. It's a really special thing to be used of God, and I know- you know that :)! It is a PRIVELEDGE to speak to the souls he loves so intensely, in whatever form we can..Writing, one on one conversations, through music, & of course through public speaking, it's all SO important :)

Our conference theme is "Persuing His Presence". We are half way through it. What has been the most awesome thus far, the old friends that had left our church, are back to visit. People I haven't seen in 8 years or more.

Adrienne's being very humble Tami. She is an awesome Preacher! She and her husband are ordained. Adrienne can speak for hours to a congregation with no notes in front of her.

I feel like the pen of a ready writer..as scripture says...Always filled with something to give, creative, more of a "storyteller", but I have ministered and preached the gospel many times, which would make for some great reading.
My personal favorite way or reason to write is my journal, though :)
I couldn't live without a fresh pad of paper and some great pens!! Just me writing to Jesus :)haha
Hope that doesn't sound weird!

It's going pretty well. I'm resting up for our annual conference. It starts Thursday and ends Sunday. In total, 7 services over 4 days. It wipes me out. I'm getting too old for this kind of schedule.

I'm with you on that. They say people need the extra boost of joy, & Christmas lifts the spirits, but they know if they can get shoppers to feeling nostalgic, they'll spend early, it's a little manipulation! I do know Danielle personally, we have known eachother for about 16 years now. We met through family members and ended up in church together, we wrote our church newsletter together, we had some fun with that, it's really where I got to know her in the beginning.

Hi Tami~ I saw the comment on Adrienne's site regarding how Adrienne and I know each other. She lives just one town over from me. I've known her for about 15 years, maybe even more. Our families use to get together often for dinner, game night, and even holidays when we lived just a couple of miles from each other.

I feel you Tami. I'm sure you are doing your very best to share Christ. Just being an everyday example of kindness leaves an impression on others. When they ask "Why so chipper?", that gives you the perfect opportunity to tell them why. You shouldn't beat yourself up over such things and by no means, let others beat you up over it either. The ones that I lost as friends were because of the way I voted (Replublican). Also, they did not support prop 8 which ment that they are not for traditional marriage and support the right to marry same gender. I supported prop 8. Apparently due to the fact that I never word my political affiliation on my sleeve they just assumed that I was like them. These issues had never come up in our casual conversations over our myspace chats. I am also a big supporter of animal rights and the environment, perhaps another reason why they thought I was more liberal. Well now they know how I feel and becuase of it, they split. Hopefully this has cleared the air, and you won't have to "split" either LOL :). Have a blessed weekend. Thanks for taking the time to work it all out with me.

Now I'm confused. It was about the "Can't we all just get along" t-shirt right? How I came about buying due to the ignorant death threats made at our mayor and pastor for supporting family marriage between man and woman? How I lost some friends because of the way I voted, how they think I'm crazy for thinking that the Lord could be coming back sooner than we think, and the way the election turned out might be the beginning of that, etc...? I didn't see any "solid" discrepancies regarding our views and beliefs. I even went back and reread our comments to each other and still couldn't find any.

Tami~ The deadline for my book to be published is in November of 2009.
