So I'm laughing a little today as I found out that the possibility of you not teaching group classes in NYC has spawned an online "save Robin Thomas Tango in New York group". I'm not exactly sure what this group intends to do... perhaps a kidnapping is in the works? Regardless, it does feel a little bit like an end of an era... Empire was my tango birth place.

On another note - I watched the videos you posted. Two comments: what's up the the little skinny sumo dude wupping the big one's ass? And secondly, I watched the whole f'ing bull fighting thing praying that sooner or later that stupid bull would figure out that the cape was not behind it all, and that sooner or later the matador would get the horns. Alas... no such luck. I've never taken the time to watch bull fighting before - the "culturally exploritative" side of me wants to "respect" it... but the rest of me finds it a sad spectacle...

So last night, I slept with the knee brace on (compression) plus wrapped in a cold pack. I can't say that I feel unfazed from yesterday, but I confess I expected to hurt a lot more this morning. There must be something to this cold/compression thing after all...

When you're right, you're right. And you my friend, are right a lot. I danced with Maria last night (sure, it's a few weeks after you first suggested it... I'm a little slow). Power steering to the extreme, and within about half an hour, she and I had worked out two leads to boleo shapes that apparently she'd never been led in, and I'd never led on someone. Craziness.

then i went out and couldnt get into a concert i had a free ticket to because i had no id, and on my way home learned the consequences of small pockets, and lost my tip.

Actually, I leave my home PC on 24-7 and am on the computer all day for work. I often just leave myself logged in. Which is not to say I don't sleep less than you... it seems during the week I often manage on 5-6 hours a night. :)
