That was the most awesome time ever.
However, our camera was stolen and we have no pictures of us in costume or the cart.
We were, Mr. Pink, Red Power Ranger, Blues Clues and Diver Dan with the Easter Basket Shopping Cart. If you have pictures of any of us or the cart that would be great!

Dog Meet
[Re: “Gone to the Dogs,” April 5] The Alaska Iditarod is not an epic adventure. It’s more accurately called the “I-killed-a dog” or “I hurt-a-dog” race.
The short list of what happens to the dogs during the Iditarod includes death, paralysis, penile frostbite, bleeding ulcers, bloody diarrhea, lung damage, ruptured discs, pneumonia, viral diseases, broken bones, torn muscles and tendons, hypothermia, and sprains.
On average, 53 percent of the dogs who start the Iditarod do not make it across the finish line. According to a study published in the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, of those who do finish, 81 percent have lung damage. The Journal of Veterinary Internal Medicine reported that 61 percent of the dogs who finish the Iditarod have ulcers versus zero percent pre-race.
The Iditarod is not a commemoration of dogs bringing diphtheria serum to Nome in 1925. Six hundred miles of this delivery was done by train and the other half was done by dogs running in relays, with no dog running over 100 miles. This isn’t anything like the present-day Iditarod in which dogs run over 1,000 miles. For the dogs, the Iditarod is torture.
