There will only be one Sam Cooke, he was a man before his time who never got the respect that he truly deserved. He broke new ground in every aspect of the entertainment industry that he was involved in. He was a man with a big heart and a warm smile. He was and is an inspiration to me personally to keep on keeping on and use all the gifts God has generously placed inside of me. We recently celebrated the anniversary of the tragic, senseless, untimely and unfortunate end of this musical genus, but his legacy of serving God and humanity will ever live on, not only in his vast musical repertoire, but in the lives of fans and fellow artist all over the world who loved and appreciated every aspect of who he was. May he ever rest in heavenly peace.
