But I want you to know, that my life has been touched by your lives. This song came to me as I was reflecting on what I would say here: Thank you for giving to the Lord I am a life that was changed Thank you for giving to the Lord I am so glad you gave....and are still giving. Just finished No Compromise...my husband is now reading it...everyone I know should read it... I was a kid then but the Lord used Keith to speak into my life truth from the Lord. His passion and love for Jesus has been an inspiration to me. I'll never forget him bouncing on the piano bench with the joy of the Lord - "You Put this Love in my heart" - followed by the hard punching conviction to the sleeping Christian - "do you see all the people sinking down, don't you care are you gonna let them drown..." Thank you Lord for Keith and his legacy. "I want to, I need to be more like Jesus!"

We need to realize that there is a war constantly going on in the spiritual realm. The devil does not want you happy, blessed and rejoicing in the Lord, but rather depressed, in debt and blaming God for all the wrong that is going on in your life. The enemy will try anything he can to separate you from having a relationship with the Lord and he is very successful at bringing problems our way in order to keep our mind on anything and everything except God. That is why it is all the more important that we have a strong and committed prayer life. If the devil constantly sees you in prayer and always asking guidance and wisdom from the Lord to help in your situation, then the enemy knows his power has become ineffective against your life. You need to recognize that is the enemy trying to get in and destroy what you have and just as you would fight to get a burglar out of your home, you need to fight that spiritual war by praying, fasting, speaking forth the scriptures of authority and rebuking the enemy in the name of Jesus Christ. "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." I encourage you to not sit idly by and let the enemy win, but rather stand strong and take back what the enemy stole in the name of Jesus Christ, in whom has all power and dominion, forever and ever, Amen
more than Useless	Jul 16, 2008 6:15 PM I don't know how many people have listened to Keith Green's teachings. But if you like his music, you'll be inspired by his teachings. Also if you get a chance listen to Leonard Ravenhill. He was a teacher to Keith Green.

Paul Dill	Jul 9, 2008 5:48 AM When I was filled with Holy Spirit and began to seriously serve God back in 1989, Keith Green's music was about all I would listen to for several years with rare exception. I remember finding a record in my mom's closet, So You Wanna go Back to Egypt. She told me that one of my sister's had given it to her for me some years prior and she forgot it. I was instantly hooked. It resonated with my soul and I knew at that time I needed something real to listen to. Later I found the Last Days book with compilations from various authors. That really filled my tank. Thanks Keith! Looking forward to meeting you.

Keith and the children went to be with the Lord not long after I had become a Christian, only 2 years actually, but he and Melody's ministry had a huge impact on my life as a new believer. Wherever I can I point people to check out on youtube etc. about him, his zeal and love for the Lord and the way he challenged us, the Church, to get out and go in a way that in my opinion is unsurpassed by many including unfortunately myself. His music challenges me and my walk with the Lord on a continual basis and I thank everyone that continues a resource to always refer back to for that.
