Hey 40hr famine!
I went 40hrs without food, I really now appreciate the courage and strength people in poverty need and I was only hungry for 40hrs!
This experience taught me so much and so far i have raised $760.85 :) Which i hope to see grow and grow.
Thankyou so much for this wonderful chance to make poverty history and bite back at hunger!

Hey everyone,
Me and my friends are doing the Famine!
We're getting lots of people to do it, to see if we can get more people than our other friends.
And we're having a sleepover. With no food!
I'm so happy to experience this and help, too.

Hey,
I won't be able to take part in the famine this year I was pretty dissapointed about that because it was awsome last year :)
Although i will be sponsering my friends and alot more people at our school are doing it this year which is great.
Hopefully I'll be able to do it next year.

lol well I'm pretty much the only year 12 student in my school doing the 40 hour famine,
I was shocked that I was ><
but yeah tis easy to raise the money for that reason (Y) I've made great progress and tis fun
(will encourage others to give it a go next year)

heey 40 hour famine,
me and 7 girl form our school are doing the 40 hour famine this year each giving up furniture or food and sleep also oen girl is giving up her voice lol. we look forward to helping raise money for hungry children all around the world and hope to raise plently for them.

hey guys, i emailed the help section on the fhf site, but they havent gotten back to me. but can you answer one question? if i register a group, and then i want to add other people (who havent decided if they will/can do it) is it possible to add them to our group? or should i deliberately register with them in the group and if they cant, just send the books back or?

hey 40 hour famine team.
i am really excited to be doing the famine this year. i was thinking of just going without food again but i dont want to do just one famine.
last year my friends and i did
no food, no technology and no furniture.
it was tough because it was the last day of school so we just watched movies all day so we had to sit outside almost all day but it was still really fun.
me and my friends are going to do the no food famine but if you have any ideas about other famines could you please tell me thankyou so much.!

hi!

I'm giving up Food, Furniture, Technology and my voice for 40 Hours.

But I've been wondering, what are the restrictions for these?

What I'm saying is:
Food: Can you still drink? What drinks?
Tech: What does that include?
Furniture: Can I still use pillows?
Speaking: Can I still use a notepad?

Eyy guys. Im going without food, my bed, chairs, transportation, and im thinking about losing my voice.
this is my 2 40 hour famine i did 8 hours in primary last year i fainted hopefully it dosnt happen this year.

im going to go without talking.
my voice is important,, and i am asking people if they pay doubble i will double my no talking for.
but everyone has to pay double .

Hey guys! Countdown is ON! Not long to go now and your ideas are awesome so far- great suggestions and great ways to get all your friends involved! That's an even better way of making sure the people most in need (the ones you're helping!) get the best long-term help possible- keep it up !
Did anyone go to the Global Leadership Conventions in your area? Tell us about your experience by posting here and spreading the word even further-- poverty is not okay!

Me and my youth group are doing a "group-sleepover-40hour-famine"!!

No eating and no furniture for 40 hours.

Its always good to have your friends cheering you on and encouraging you!

Hey 40 hour famine!
i would have done the famine on the actual weekend but my friends and i didnt sign up until the thursday before!
we are starting tomorrow and going till saturday!
were going without food, technology AND furniture!
its gonna be tought but we will have each other to keep ourselves company!
the money and books will definatly be in on time though so don't worry!
