Baroness	Feb 21, 2009 2:36 AM MySpace won't let me respond to your blog, so I'll respond here. #1 I secretly love clothing that are mubered because they're so limited in quantities (I own a shirt that is #__ of 52. #2 I also somewhat reverted to my mother's habits of dressing me. Though she didn't have people bringing her foreign clothing for me, she always bought me new outfits for EVERYTHING (parties, graduations, weddings, holidays, birthdays... new outfit everytime). I recall going shopping for these outfits and being allowed to choose which I liked better and that sort of thing (when I was old enough to know what shopping was; she was doing this since I was born). So now when she yells at me for spending money on clothes (and shoes and accessories) all the time, I remind her why I am the way I am. Have fun tonite!

That would be Boston, Kansas, other various geographically named bands that were known for long songs with more then necessary solos. The Tubes were too pop for that. Yacht Rock may have begun in the Marina but then branched out. Its like NY Punk vs English punk. It began in NY but then branched out - hence Huey Lewis, Tubes, Hooters, etc. We can go on for hours on this. I just feel that they didnt cover the entire spectrum. If you are going to have Hall & Oats and Kenny Loggins (post Loggins and Messina) then you should have Huey Lewis, Tubes, and Hooters (they are the dudes that sang that "Carrie Ann" song)
