Hello again...yeah it's me....no surprise there.
Thought I'd post my Veteran's Day comments a little in advance, in recognition of The Day tomorrow. And to me, "Recognition" and "Remembering" is what the day is all about.
As you go about living your daily life, please stop a moment or two and try to remember just why you are so fortunate to be an American. Veteran's Day is a time when we say "Thank You" to all our Men and Women who sacrificed a big part of their lives for you and I, and were lucky enough to be spared so we can enjoy life as we know it. There is so much we can learn from the example of many of our Vets, and apply to our own journey. Be a role model, save a life, or make a sacrifice that will change a life and maybe even history.

In life there are those who help others and look out for them...intervene when they have too, and teach what they can to make life better for others. They are never in the mainstream, they do not seek fame or fortune, and yet they always find a way to survive. They are known as Soldiers...

A Personal THANK YOU to those of you reading this, that have Served and Sacrificed for our Great Country and her People.

Sharing something a little different this go-around... These guys do A LOT of good for so many...
ROLLIN' THUNDER  THURSDAY WITH THE SPIDER KINGS!

The Bar King Spiders are a national touring biker band. The band has been around for over 20 years playing every major bike event across the US. They have been voted WNY's #1 biker band for over 10 years. Gary Dellaneve, nephew of the late Tommy Calandra from the band Raven, cofounded the band with Alan Thompson. Gary has toured two years as lead guitar player for Jimmi Vanzant band. The band has recently finished their first original CD Titled Rollin' Thunder and has just released a music video with the same title filmed live at one of the countries largest mc blessings. The video is a tribute to our fallen bikers and veterans. The video was put on you tube under the bands name. They hope to sign with a label in hopes to make money off the video to donate to the National Org. Rolling Thunder which has over 80 chapters. They hold the Memorial Run in DC to aid POW's MIA's and veterans.

The weekend has started for most of us, and I for one, have spent a bit of the day reflecting on the importance of family, friends and simply REALLY living life.  Now I am not a religious person at all;  but I have my own private spirituality.  I think that our own  walks in life are between the individual and the Man upstairs... its a personal relationship...ain't nobody elses business...
So as you embark upon your respective activities this weekend, please stop and take a pause for the cause. Give some real thought to who and what is important to you.  Call an old friend or family member you may have lost touch with.  If you had a petty falling out with someone you care about; try and fix it. Do something nice for a stranger just because you can.  And at the end of the day, no matter what kind of personal struggles you may be dealing with (and we all have them), be thankful for what you DO have while you can...
