They spent the next month holed up in the magical isle known as Jesse Lacey's Bedroom. They'd only come out to go to the bathroom, grab more pop-tarts, and watch The Office. Brand New had to cancel the rest of their tour and believe you me, the rest of the band was hella pissed at young Yokoifer. But the truth was that Jesse loved Jennifer more than anything in the world. He proved it by writing her a little ditty that he called, Jennifer Pwns Morrissey. A single tear ran down Jennifer's cheek as he debuted his new song for her. She always knew their epic love would turn out like this. But lo, their blissful heaven could not last forever. Money was trickling from his bank account as Jesse tried to keep Jennifer knee-deep in Burger King and Taco Bell dinners. It was a sad and sorry state. Poor Jesse took to pan-handling for change on the sidewalk while plucking away on his guitar. Jennifer didn't know what to do. She loved Jesse - he was her one true love and she'd cut off his left nut before she let him leave her - but she was afraid of what all this angst was doing to his soul. She had decided to tell him when he came home from the streets that night that she would sell her eggs to provide for them for a while. He tried keeping his brain wrapped around the music but his mind kept flashing back to the girl's knowing eyes and long, luxurious hair. Knew the truth behind his rock star persona and obvious good looks. In between songs he dared to look her way again. She sent him a sexy smirk and he felt his heart skip a beat. Before the band went out for their encore, he pointed her out to his best friend from back home and said, "Dude. Go talk to her. I want to meet her after the show." He wasn't disappointed when he got backstage and found her waiting. She was even more beautiful and charming than he'd seen from the stage. "Hey," he said. "I'm Jesse." "Jennifer," she answered back and his heart filled to the brim with love. This was it, there was no messing around this time.
