Thismust be the shortest promo I ever received. 2 tracks must be enough forus to understand the sound of Casting Curses – and to let us hoping formore. CC play pissed, angry modern hardcore, and they do it well.Imagine some 90ies feeling and some old schoolish anger mixed withthose modern rocking hardcore bands, add some good shouting and nice,massive beats and guitars – that is what their sound is about, and thatis why it works well. Especially those slower moments, like in „heydisbeliever“ at 2:20, where those artsy guitars are added, are verywell done. „change the lights“ is rougher, but nontheless a nice trackfollowing that sound. Short record, short review, but nontheless somepraise. Nice, isn’t it?
