wow, im a huge Ray fan.... (and i love your music anyway) and other ray covers ive heard were kinda blah, but.... Jolene was awesome... and refreshing, your spin on it works better than id imagined when i clicked on it, not that i thought itd be bad form what ive heard from ya.... it was just very very good, thanx

.... and ps while im here, i like your version of sea of love even better than cat power's....shhhhh dont tell anyone, lol

Conor Oberst..."Breezy" Ben Harper..."amen, omen" Ray LaMontagne..."let it be me" Damien Rice..."9 crimes" Lucinda Williams..."fruits of my labor" Ryan Adams..."she wants to play a game of hearts" & "blue sky blues" (this one is rare, so you may have a hard time finding a good version, try the BBC concert) Bright eyes..."landlocked blues", "first day of my life", & "lua" (all great) Iron & Wine..."Flightless bird, American mouth" Rolling Stones..."Wild horses" John Mayer..."slow dancing in a burning room" Death cab for cutie..."I will follow you into the dark" Just a few...I had seen where you were just recently introduced to the music of Elliott Smith, who is another favorite! I'm sure that you're familiar with some if not all of these songs already, but if not I believe that you will like them! =] Keep it up! Normally I hate when people cover my favorite artists because they usually butcher the songs, but I really enjoy the songs that you have covered & would love to hear more!

Thanks Kiersten. We are actually going to be in Seattle on Oct. 31 but I think, at least this time, we won't need any backup vox. It's definitely good to know folks who are willing to do some singing though, so we'll keep it in mind.

Honestly, don't even worry about the gang vocals. I think I was pushing everyone too hard and quick, and I might not even use them. I'm not getting the sound I was looking for, everyone ended up singing soft and now it sounds like a bunch of tiny slaps instead of a fist to the face.

I think that your Wilco cover is great.  You always do awesome covers.  My favorites are the two Ryan Adams covers.  You having an amazing voice and beautiful lyrics with your originals.  I bought Ignoble on Itunes and have been enjoying it ever since.  From all your originals my favorites are I Have Waited and Faulty.  

I am so glad that you are sharing your music with us all.  I think that you are SUPER-talented.  Music is such a big part of me and I am glad that I get to share in the music you make.  May you constantly be encouraged, that you are amazing.  You have an amazing voice, beautiful lyrics/insight, and you are gorgeous [so photogenic...lol].  I wish you the best in all you do!

Nice lyrics for the new tune!  I would love to hook you up with some of the wonderful "backporch" players we have here in the islands...  slack key, fiddle, civil war drum feel....  your voice is a true treasure.  There is a "Kauai Music Festival" around July every year for songwriters - I bet you would get signed.  I placed in the top 3 years ago - I should add the song to my page.  Mahalo and keep writing!

have you seen inglorious bastards?
right as the movie starts during the opening credit this "westerny" type song is playing and it was mostly horns.
well anyway it sounded extremely familiar then i realized that it started exactly like one of your songs, i don't remember the name but it started "i'll buy you a flower..." and the song in the movie started EXACTLY the same, identical melody.
well anyways this is really long and i just thought you should know that quentin tarintino is plagiarizing you...
