Hey Sean, thanks for having my band The Nation Blue all the way from Melbourne last year. It was a blast to play along side so many great bands. Pissed Jeans, Jay Reatard, Greg Ashley, The Fuse, and on and on and on. It is a great festival.

Echoplex was too quiet for a few bands on sunday night, particularly Jay Reatard and No Age, though they both still put on great shows. Who the fuck are Pissed Jeans? I think I'm in love.

fuck yeah was a wonderful time
i found everything to be hilarious, even the normally annoying stuff (kids with the same cameras, everyone wearing a plaid shirt, etc)
good memories were made, the lovely Becky Stark talking about how bad plastic bags are
running down the street at midnight in short shorts and singing
guys handing out stickers not expecting a full-on shouting match (all in good fun)
sitting on the floor of the rec center listening to the beautiful voice of imaad wasif until our asses were numb
witty banter with a security guard

absolutely perfect.
