Nov 6, 2009 11:34 PM

G'day Alan...
greetings from Jolly (aka Rumpel)...
Was great to meet you at the Beatles
festival in Liverpool a few months ago
and with my good buddy Achim Schultz.
Love your work and Yes was a brilliant band.
I collected many Yes albums over the years.
Roger Dean did some fantastic album covers.
I used to draw a lot and listening to Yes was a great
inspiration. Complex music indeed.
I thought the Olias of the Sunhillow record Jon Anderson
did was interesting also.
I just bought a funny little 1968 Ladybird beetle
car in Vegas over a month ago. It's a classic, actually
looks like a ladybird, red and black and with spots and cute
antennaes. Love it. A real change from my 1977 gold
Lincoln Continental Mark V car. That was my first car ever.
My beetle is a stick-shift. Bit tricky driving one of those at first.
Hope to see you around again sometime. Perhaps even at Achim's
big 60th birthday party next year. Is going to be great!!!
Best regards as always! Love and light Jolly Goodfellow (Rumpel the Worldly Kangaroo Fool of Oz)!

It was great meeting you at Salmon Days! I loved hearing you play. I was almost in tears when you played "Imagine."

I would be thrilled if you would visit my page and listen to "Cross the Road."

I hope you are well and that you had a good holiday weekend.

Hugs,

Kari
