NY/NJ psych-popsters MOD FUN will be returning to The Sidebar in Baltimore, Maryland for a hip shakin' night of music with locals The Names.
On Saturday, March 7th these two fab groups will rock the house in the intimate surroundings of one of downtown Baltimore's coolest little venues - The Sidebar Tavern - home of the "Recation" monthly mod party.

New Jersey's own MOD FUN returns to Maryland for an
appearance with local up & coming retro hipsters The Names.


On Saturday, February 7th The Whiskey in Annapolis will host an evening of
groovy, hip-shakin' music as Mod Fun ventures south from NJ to take the stage
with Maryland lads - The Names. Also on the bill will be The Static Mind from
North Carolina and The Royals. The Whiskey is an awesome venue in heart of
Annapolis boasting two floors of great food, drink, and live music. Mod Fun
will have copies of their latest release on sale at a special "show-only" price.

i saw ted leo on saturday in d.c.. i moved to the area in 99... so i never had the opportunity to see chisel live. i wish, one day....

funny 'cause there were all these kids that were trying to one-up their ted leo fanaticism.. without mention of one of my favorite bands of all-time, chisel. ah well.

Chisel, You guys ruled the known universe. My first Chisel record - Nothing New, bought from the Pietasters at a show in NYC. Paul Pietaster said "we are Mods, these guys are mods. You should buy this". Thank God I did. Miss you guys. Would love to see some video or unreleased stuff! Cheers.

Set you free is one of my all time favorite albums ever and it rules that one of you was in Indian Summer. I hope this effort to collect video means a DVD in the nearish future.
