Let me tell you that my sons and myself were so lost and broken by this. I checked Petfinder everyday for a week to see if the local shelters had anything posted and finally, after that week, there he was. I have a foster dog on Petfinder listed under the Misissippi Valley German Shepherd dog Rescue. This is the 4th I have had listed with you, the other 3 all found forever homes from being on your site. The MVGSDR has listed many dogs with there. Thank you for being THE place for people to go to to find good adoptable pets.

We lost our dogs 3 years ago one had just turned 11 got sick the day after her bday we found out she had spleen cancer and less than a 5 percent chance of coming off the operating table alive and our second had disc displasyia and was in such bad shape couldn't touch him we had to put both down within a month of each other. We have two cats now and even though we love them it's not the same as having dogs and as am ready for a new dog my hubby isn't so I come here and pray for u all and all that u r doing and for all the animals that they will find forever homes. God bless u all

My fiance and I have a Pit Bull Terrier (Jersey) and an American Staffordshire Terrier (Diego)... both of whom were at local shelters.  Originally, before we went to visit them, I found them both on Petfinder.  They are the sweetest, most loving and loyal dogs I have ever had.  Thanks, Petfinder, for completing my little family! :)
