For to long have we in America marveled over innovative creations that are designed to make our lives easier. Here at the International Leisure Club we say it’s time we start experiencing the ease modern technology has been promising all along.
Fact is Americans have increasingly worked more days a year since World War II! We have also seen a decline in the average income of middle class Americans. So we’re working more and getting less. This is a trend that will continue unless we do something.

That’s why we at the International Leisure Club Have decided to lend our full support to the movement to give American workers a 5 day weekend. That’s rights, seems like a lot to ask for doesn’t it? If the powers that be don’t give it to us, well, we might just take it anyway!
To show our support for this landmark movement we plan to hold a demonstration, leisure style, Tuesday July 31st from 4pm to 6pm on the Corner of Freedom Parkway and Boulevard.
We’ll be giving out posters, bumper stickers, pamphlets, and more.
We'll be inviting Atlanta to join us in clocking off for the rest of the week.

So what your saying is an auto manufacturer can build just as many cars in 2 days. A school can teach students everything they need to learn in 104 days a year. A builder can build just as many houses in 2 days. A restaurant can prepare just as many entrees in 2 days. A Hotel can turnover just as many beds in two days. A truck drive can transport the same amount of product in 2 days. A bus driver can take all the people to any destination in two days. A pilot can fly just as many people around the world in two days. A soilder can learn all their training in 2 days a week. A housewife can do everything her family needs in two days. A Pizza delivery driver can deliver just as many pizzas in two days. God needed six days and your telling us we can do everything we need to do in two. That's complete bull. I'll support ya'll because i'll open up businesses to cater to you lazy SOB's.

I'm very happy to have found you out there waking Americans up. I really recommend the book Happiness by Richard Layard, a British economist who has done a lot of research about standard of living improvements in the western world coinciding with the decline of happiness.

As a high school student who is very ebthusiastic about my future, I think a five-day weekend is an excellent idea that would really help me to live the kind of life I've always wanted to - a life where you don't have to sacrifice accomplishment for fulfillment, or vica versa.

My one piece of advice is to take yourself a bit more seriously - analogies about gerbil sex are fun and all, but if you want ot get any serious political backing, start presenting more hard evidence and facts.

Keep up the good work! (but not too hard)
