I have only started out as a Boyzone fans when my sisters started singing to Love Me For A Reason when I was only 10. I love the song instantly and remain as a fan of Boyzone since. I am truly torn when I heard Stephen has left us and that I would never get to see Boyzone as a five piece now to perform once again on stafe for me. I will always remember Stephen Gately on what a great vocalist he is! R.I.P.

Our lifes had just got better, our boyz were back on stage:( our hearts have now been broken, our steo has passed away:( he filled our lifes with happiness, he showed us that we cared:( he always stopped to say hello, he the fact we cared:( his loss to us just seems so wrong, its on the stage he should belong:( his cheeky smile upon his face, his energy and warm embrace:( we shared his life so many years, we also shared so many tears:( we share the memories and alk the fun, we share the pain thats made us numb:( no one can know just what weve lost, no one will understand the cost:( no one can take our pain away, no one else can brighten our day:( so if our tears could build a stairway, and our memories a lane:( we would walk straight up to heaven, to bring u back again:( aww steo we love ya wee man, it hurts so bad:( please give us the strength to carry on:( our deapest sympathys go to the boys, andy, margaret, martin, alan, mark, tony, michelle and all there families:( hope to see you all soon again, you all did him proud on saturday. god bless you all, take care and sleep tight my wee man:( u will always remain in our hearts, thanks for the memories x x x

I'm still shocked about the sudden loss of Stephen and I still don't want to believe it. It's just so sad. I did not know Stephen in person, but I do think of him as a very lovely and nice young man, who has touched thousands of hearts, including mine. I'll always remember him smiling while he was singing. Thank you Stephen for all the happy moments. RIP

I want to send my regards to his husband, family and friends. May God bless you all and give you the strength to get through your loss. Love Jana

I still can't believe stevo has gone... seems like a bad dream. I'm still in shock. But my deepest sympothy and condolances go to stevos family, friends and andrew. Stevo was a bubbly kindda guy and he will be missed by so many people. I have followed him since i was 10 years old and now i'm like 25. He was a great big piece of my life, but the first time i ever saw him live was when he was in Chitty chitty bang bang. He was amazing. as well as a great actor he was the best singer 'Bright Eyes' will always stick in my head as one of the best solo's he has ever done. Goodluck with finishing the book to. I think it will be very succesful and stevo will be looking down and so proud of the ending i'm sure. But i aint going to say much more apart from stevo will never ever be forgotten. He was one in a million x Love u Stevo and all my love to stevo's family, friends and so on x

Hey Stephen! We all know you are in heaven. :D

Never really got the opportunity to see you guys perform live, even though I was a huge fan. Didn't become a fan right away since I was only 4 when you guys started! I live far away from UK (The Philippines). But still, I'm always looked forward in seeing the Boyz perform. Unfortunately, if it happens, it would be different without you.

Hope you are singing with the angels! We will all miss you.

He sang with passion and feeling!

I'm very very very very very very very sorry about what happened! I can not believe it. Once again, I want to send all my support to his family, to Andrew, to the Boyz, to his friends. I had the great pleasure and honour to meet Steve a few years ago when the lads were touring and promoting in France. I have plenty of memories with them and what I remember of Steo is he being the nicest guy ever !!! Never grumpy, never too tired to have a nice words even to us: ronan's fans ;-) I remember him being in Paris on one of his birthdays, he was so so so so so happy just because we brought him some green-white and gold balloons and a plastic toy. He hugged us so thight and spent a long time with us chatting about life and making jokes !!!! I remember him being so concerned because I had been nearly kicked by a bodyguard, I remember him liking to eat sweets and talking about Disney last movie, I remember him with ALWAYS a smile on his face. I remember him making jokes to us about Ro just to try to make us angry a little bit, I remember him singing with energy coming from the bottom of his heart. I remember him being a very good person.
I will remember this for the rest of my life and also this great shock I had when my phone rang and that my best friend told me Steo was gone !
I will miss you, Steo !!!! I know you're in peace and one day we'll meet again to eat a lollypop and talk about how Ronan can be grumpy, how the last Disney do not worth Hercules and having good times.

God decided to take you from us too soon as you still had so much to give. I am deeply sadden as I had the privledge to meet you on several occasion and you always made them memorable. So even though you are gone I will always have these memories for ever more and so will my daughter as she too was priveleged to meet you for her 18th birthday and you all made her night. :( Where do i start? love u and missing u loads:( My heart is breaking, the pain!! It hurts sooooooooo bad:( U will always b my little shining star steo, u gave me the happiest memories of my life. I cant believe ur gone:( It was only a few months ago we were all have fun and laughs on the tour, i will treasure every moment spent with u for the rest of my life:( U were a good person steo and i jst keep telling myself u have moved onto a better place, only the good die young.
