PBHS Gay/Straight Allia…Pbhs Gay-straight Alliance	Jul 12, 2009 6:44 PM My entire GSA club consist of 50 people and every one of them participated in the Day Of Silence. We had teachers involved and we ha several students out side of GSA participate! All together it was about 100 people at our school. It was a wonderful experience and we all plan on doing it again this year.

TumbleweedHeather Tumbleweed	Jun 23, 2009 9:17 PM I have been doing the Day of silence for about 3 years now, and my school never had an official day, I really think it should be an official holiday because this is a real issue, some students argue that being bullied made them who they are today, but it shouldn't have to be that way.... I am so glad there are organizations like this Thank You so much because I was bullied as a kid and know what its like today

We started with a small group and found out other students had more groups of people wearing the t-shirts, a lot of people i would have never gussed. This was our first year at our school doing this, the principals were against this, but in the end didnt stop us because their were too many students. lol. but most of my teachers were for it. Check out my newest blog it talks about how everything went for us on April 17 Comments would be great.!!.

dollfacelaceLace Spencer	Apr 17, 2009 6:34 PM TODAY'S THE DAY :D i've been participating all day long since i woke up and till i sleep tonight :) it's SOOOO challenging! but for an amazing cause and there are quite a few other people at my school doing it too :) I was AMAZED at the reaction, there were so so many people i would have never expected who came up and told me what a great thing it was and were so supportive, it really made me happy to know there are great people out there who support the LGBT community <3 anyways just wanted to let you guys know how great today has been! i'm definitley going to participate every single year :) <3 THANKS!

;;*£εṡßọň¡ĉ.£ọṡεŕƒằĉε[<…Katie Bug	Apr 17, 2009 9:15 PM my friends and i did the day of silence today(: we all wore red and were quite there were some teachers that wouldnt let us be quite and not talk. so next year we are goin to our head principal to get it aproved so we can support and be quite all day without the teachers saying anything about it.(: we all had alot of fun doing it..most of us got our shirts signed and we had tape that said "TODAY I AM SILENT" i wore a home-made day of silence t-shirt. it is red and on the front it says "4.17. 09 National Day of Silence" and the back says "what are you going to do to END the silence? www.dayofsilence.org" i think it would have been better if the teachers would have let us be silent. but we have next year for that and we are going to do everything we can to get it aproved to do(: we had a bast expecially when someone slipped up we all pointed and had the "OMG!" lookon our faces then we would break out in silent laughs(: well that bout how the day of silence went at my school(:
