I bought a laptop from Walmart (because I'm not hip [and caked] enough for a Powerbook) and it had two of your tracks on it. How I've never heard of you guys is beyond me, but its a crying shame. I thought maybe you were a new band though because your sound seems to fit with the indie rock scene nowadays. You've got history, that's great.

I'm taking Dear 23 to the grave with me, it is seriously one of the my all time favorite albums, every track is perfect. And you will never believe who turned me onto it. Ringo Starr. No lie.

Forget what mag I was reading, but there was a snippet article about Beatle tunes, sound alike Beatle bands, etc. and Ringo put in his .02 about his faves. And he said "Golden Blunders" by The Posies. That very day I ran out and bought it. Years later I saw you perform in a dank club in Manhattan and you all signed it. One of my prized possessions.

True stories, all.

Thank for the tunes, the beautiful voices, the beautiful harmonies.
