Warner	Jun 23, 2009 3:18 AM mooonnnneeeeeyyyyy sucks! yes it does, it's made out of paper, yet is soo hard to get. shame on Obama for making my dollor worth less so now I have to pay double for british made Mini parts!!!!! I'm trying to finish my Honda Prelude. I sold my original Mini engine, then I bought a whole donor car with a JDM 40-50k mile engine in it already... once I get the Prelude restored and painted, I'm going to try and ask a fair price for it. I'm going the extra mile trying to make it look, feel, and smell like it is brand new so when some one is interested in buying it, the car will speak for itself.... When that happens, I will then go all out on my Mini :) But the HEAT is insane this summer! yes the road is calling, but for a car with airconditioning! glad to hear you are loving your bug. You should put some Superlites on that thing!

Warner	Apr 19, 2009 2:41 AM No, won't be this summer... but, the way things are going, hopefully by Christmas. Next summer for sure though. Yeah the floor was hacked up and rotted badly. The previous owner's body man was a hacker and didn't do anything the right way. Just study a couple pics of my Mini and you'll see what I mean. It looked like a solid car when I got it but it wasn't. It's going to be 100% solid once I'm finished with it though :D

☆Allee☆	Jan 27, 2009 2:20 AM i actually have some pics on my samba account. look up ladybug89 on the member list...ya i like the way it rides. like its sooooo much smoother and bumps arent that bad anymore. i have drops too...i just put on a steering dampner over the weeekend and its helps alot, i would reccomend running one if you get one...if you want one, my boyfreind can make you one...check out Halbasch Fab on my top friends.

Warner	Jan 4, 2009 3:13 PM yup. Thats the only downfall with building things is time and cash. For me it's mostly cash :D 15 seconds.. I think my Mini did around 15-20 from 0-60 with the original 1098cc in it. I'm hoping it's going to be around 0-60 in 4-5 seconds with the Honda in it :D

Warner	Jan 3, 2009 10:30 PM Yup. Going to upgrade the brakes to 9.1" Honda civic brakes. Should have plenty of stopping power. Who knows... It might be faster. I saw a couple vids on youtube of a guy who has my engine in a CRX and he is doing 11s at I think it was 18lbs of boost. I'm probably going to run 10lbs of boost just to keep the engine alive for a long life and am going to try and reach 200-220hp tuned.

Warner	Jan 3, 2009 1:21 PM I thought of the air shocks before, but since I'm putting the Honda engine in it and it will probably be in the low 13's on the 1/4, I'm going to need good suspension lol The original suspension won't work good with my new setup. It has rubber cones for springs and the rear subframe almost has bell cranks to transfer the up and down motion of the rear wheel swing arm to a back and forward motion going to the rear rubber cone with a big push rod. The front is almost the same but doesn't use that bell crank idea. Coil overs will simplify the suspension and it will perform alot better.
