~We should certainly count our blessings, but we should also make our blessings count.~

Heading into this holiday season, it is impossible to escape the especially difficult times we are facing. My family has been hit pretty hard, from several different sides, so I understand first-hand how easy it is to let all of the negative things get you down. Christmas is my favorite time of year and I am determined to hold fast to the Christmas spirit. When it comes right down to it, no matter how many hits we take, we are still extremely blessed because we have each other - cherished family and friends, among which you are certainly counted. Thank you for your patience, your kindness, your thoughts and prayers. Thank you for being such a blessing! God bless you and your loved ones this holiday season. I pray it is filled with love, joy and peace!!

For those asking about my sister, her surgery has been re-scheduled yet again. It was postponed another three weeks. Not all of the records were received from previous doctors. :(

How was your Thanksgiving? I hope it was an amazing one. I spent time with loved ones and ate until I couldn't move, lol, so mine was pretty great! On Friday, I will be going to Houston with my sister. She is scheduled to go into the Hospital for heart surgery. They will attempt to put in stints, but if that is unsuccessful, she will have another bypass. Please keep her in your prayers. I'll be back ASAP
