We're offering a discount to fellow skaters from other derby leagues to support
all local rollergirls!...Here is the scoop:



The Jersey Shore Roller Girls are offering a limited number of discounted
tickets to other leagues for the Saturday Aug. 22 roller derby bout at Asbury
Park's Convention Hall.



Being in a roller derby league means you get the discount! JSRG is selling 50
discounted tickets for the Aug. 22 bout, so act now to get your name on the
derby discount list and pay $10 for tickets instead of $20! This offer is
limited; JSRG is offering only 50 discount spots.



What to do to get your ticket:

-Contact our interleague coordinator Kap'n Krush via email, (krush3.5g at gmail
dot com) with your name and your league's name before Aug. 19.

-Come to the ticket window Aug. 22 to pick up and pay for your $10 tickets.


Doors are at 7 p.m., whistle blows at 8 p.m. for JSRG's interleague match-up
between the Anchor Assassins and Murder Beach Militia. General admission tickets
are $20 day of show, $5 for children and $15 with military ID. 21 and over to
drink. Bring an item for our pet food and pet supply drive to support the
Monmouth County SPCA, and be entered to win a JSRG prize pack.

This is why I keep coming back for more. After 3 months of disappearing for class, "y'all" welcomed me with open arms. I had a warm and fuzzy feeling when I left. That is something you don't find with every team. I was pensive when I arrived because of my long absence, but I felt as if I was finally part of derby family. Call me whenever you like. I don't know your work schedule and I'm basically free until July. If you need me to do anything...call. I'll do any small jobs you need done. I don't mind traveling. I'll be back up for Tuesday.

This bout will decide who will challenge them - the Cherry Blossom Bombshells or last year's champs, Scare Force One.




Our All-Stars are also hitting the road again this month, fresh off their victory against the Dutchland Derby Rollers.
This time, they are heading south to take on the Dominion Derby Girls April 26.

Thank you ladies for all of your help and derby love!
I received your flowers, and although I couldn't smell them, they certainly made me feel a lot better! :) The bruises are just about gone and the scars are healing surprisingly quickly. My nose has a heir-line fracture, and from what i can tell is healing well also. I wanted to send a thank you card but i don't have any of your addresses'. Thanks again for all of your thoughts and warm wishes.
I should be skating again real soon!
