ohh, I just read the blog..

Well my love and prayers go out to each of you and your families.

your music has been a true blessing for me and has really helped me when im down or thinking of going back to a past addiction.

oh, and don't think yalls breaking up is getting you out of a bbq here in san antonio!!

Are you guys ever planning on coming to Houston? :) :) :)

You guys have a nice, crisp modern sound without being a cliche clone Christian band! We need more Christian music like yours. What I mean by this is that a large quantity of "Christian bands" that I've heard, honestly, are horrible. They've lost touch with imagination and self-expression and have just become a part of the "Christian" scene by playing a 4-chord song with a soft acoustic guitar and a gentle voice. That's not music. That's what I call "clonership". But bands like yourselves and "Red" (amazing!!) are stepping it up and bringing the MUSIC back to the Christian message. Bravo! I applaud you so much.
I'm still a fan!

I am so sad to hear about the band breaking up. I never had the pleasure of meeting you guys. :( theRide is such an awesome band, and has made some great music together. Well, it's time to close another chapter in that book we call 'life', and move on. I hope you all will continue to serve, and enjoy your lives. Maybe do an update once in a while on your MySpace, so we know what everyone is doing.
