hey guys...
just returned from a long time in london to this really quiet place here. was listening to "city i love you" on the bus this afternoon, the sun shining... took me all the way back! i will always love that song, it's fantastic. hope you are doing ok guys.

I was merely tending to the grounds (of the mind), wearing someone else’s costume, but minding my own business, drunkenly sorting my way through a masters degree in who knows what anymore as if I were being washed out or hazed like some sloppy undergrad, when I heard it through the vineyard vines, spanning almost every red state, nonetheless, whilst stumbling over Spätburgunder and Sontag, that you’ve over ripened and since split!? Well, rather than deliver you more grief, I’ll just say: organic goes stale and you guys were no set’o’twinkies with some ungodly shelf life. Rather, a hybrid giant Chinese grapefruit/Nordic mountain berry (strawberry, perhaps?) comes to mind. True, it is sad and I am also sad for it but, lest we forget, it all happened and was wonderful while it did, so, bravo!… besides it still lasts just as something to remember…and don’t we live for memories? Don’t we? You’re still at the top of themall, look at themall!

Well, you can imagine our astonishment when one of the church cantors, who happened to be sitting in the gallery, suddenly boomed out: "Bravo, Silva!" a whole octave lower. I guess it's true, obviously. I wish you all the best guys. Henry, good luck on the acting, it's the greatest profession. Maybe even tougher than persueing a musical carreer, but definitely the most rewarding.
