I never took to that Beautiful People, even though Olivia Coleman is in it and I like her.
I adore Miranda, never really found er that funny in Not Going Out-unlike everyone else-but its obvious she's better writing her own material here. She's hilarious and its rare to see a sitcom that all the family can enjoy. Little kids will love it for the slapstick and older kids will love it because it shows you can be different.
Glad you liked Happy Go Lucky. Its a bit of a marmite film for some, but I love everything writer/director Mike Leigh has ever done, and Sally Hawkins was superb as Poppy.
Wish me luck chuck, I've an interview tomorrow, one on Friday and one a week today!

Ooh good, glad it got to you safe!
Aah just general money/life probs. A job I really wanted didnt even offer me an interview. Incapacity kicked me off the benefit after a joke of a medical-Doctor was too bust eating his lucnh! So have to appeal that. In the meantime was told that I had to claim Income Support, reduced due to appeal at just £30 a week. Luckily, an advisor from Shaw Trust I'm seeing told me to claim Employment Support instead, which is £70 a week or so. Jobcentre had completely misinformed me, so had to do the forms for that, eventually, when all sussed. Claim still isnt in though, as I have to do appeal first, and citizens advice could only see me this Monday. All told I probably won't get cash for a few more weeks now. Gah!
For 8 months now since I left work, Tax Credits have been sending me overpayment notices, saying I owe them £188 and as much as £3,000! I've disputed all this all the way and eventually today they told me that it was a huge computer error on their part, but that I do owe them just £29.
There's also some light at the end of the tunnel, but I don't want to jinx myself, so I'm keeping my cards close

Well tbh I haven't really looked into the tour, and I doubt I'd go, since my best mate got all loved up/under the thumb, I've pretty much lost my comedy gig going companion

Would you believe they didn't, the dept dropped it and didnt even exclude him. Thankfully they did agree that I would never have to deal with him....wasn't even dealing with him the first time, was dealing with his friend whne he decided to but in, he'd already threatened one member of staff that day!
Anyway the good thing was I saw him briefly one more time on my return and then never again...he must have signed off. Chav scum.
Still, in a way it helped, I became a much more calmer figure after that and my own temper, such as it ever was, was held in much firmer check, because really, who needs to be so aggresive? It gets you nowhere.
I'm told Ben carries a pic of Rob just to make people aware they are seperate in case the misunderstanding occurs!
I like Rob, he's brilliant as Uncle Bryn in Gavin and Stacey

Ooh first time watching it? Brilliant, knew it'd hit the spot, it's a much needed pick up!
2001 was a bad time for me as it was when I first got diagnosed with depression and went on me meds, plus around that time, my sis got married (which was a good thing!) but that week in work I got attacked. Which wasn't.
Anyway I went off sick for 3 weeks and during that time it came out on the cinema and a mate of mine from work took the day off and we both went to watch it and then went for drinks after. It really boosted my confidence and lifted my spirits.
Ben is great in that, he's got that great fractious relationship going on with pretty much all the characters in it!
Aww hug back at you, I could do with one myself *hugs*

Oh dear how awful, aw poor Sarah, I'm so sorry for you. It always happens at once doesn't it? My thoughts and hopes are with Tiggy right now, I've been there with pets with bowel and bladder probs, that's how we lost our Pip, so I know how scary and worrying it is for pet owners. Fingers crossed something can be done and it wont break the bank too much.
As for the job, what can I say? Everyone seems to be out of work at once don't they? My brother in law got laid off in the summer, started a new job with my cousin's husband and now that firm have had to lay him off and my cousin's son as well today. Jobs, or lack of em, are the bane of my life too at present. My old work should have shortlisted and interviewed for the new post now, but my old manager is in hospital so it's postponed indefinately. I've been waiting since April now.
The one bright side I can offer you is you're in a better position for work now than what you were this time last year, there's more experience on your CV now and you'll get a good reference. Its just finding the break isn't it?
So sorry.
And you're not boring me, friends listen to the good and the bad after all. Just hope I haven't bored you!

Yeah! Love The Mighty Mac and that is a great song.
I always have friendly debates with my mate John, we both like Mac in every era, but I admire the early Peter Green stuff, all joss sticks and blues, whereas he really only likes the Lindsey Buckingham stuff, all cocaine and high power!
I think a lot of last night's doc went over old ground but it was still very enjoyable to watch. BBC4 are doing a whole night to them on Friday

It's been brilliant hasn't it?! Loved The Krypton Factor skit this week and Dennis Lincoln Park, I mean you can see the gag coming a mile off, but it's still so funny, I just chuckle and the name, hehe, LinkinPark. Easily amused me.
My fave though is Brabbins and Fyfe, I was in stitches at the song describing how he ended up in the wheelchair, to the extent that it's ben stuck in my head ever since! I was in Southport today and someone came past in a wheelchair, and there it was!

Well they have these people at my school called student leaders and one of my best friends are one so they do this mag and they asked if anyone knew who vic and bob were and my friend was the only one so she should be doing the interview with them and we've asked if I can tag along the woman said I should be able to but i'll have to send this woman who is organising it an email so fingers crossed :) i'll send a fancy email about how I want to be a journalist and this could be good experience lol :)
