We just finished recovering from our gig at fallz festival and omg it was sooooo amazingg!!!
It was such a parti!! we spent quality time with our good new frendz tegan&sara & Dash&Will & the grates. wish u were there to parti with us.

we filmed the gig and a few of the interviews and this very rare acoustic thing I did. when our osm manager phil gets aroun to it we'll have them up on the myspace...and theres also some new stuff from the festival on youtube.
anyways, hopefully well be playing at soundwave, that wood be so kewl! our manager phil says that hell know by tomorrow or the next few days. how exciting!!!!

have you seen the lineup?? omg it's gonna be so osm. weve already bought our tix to the sidewaves. they got announced last week or sumfin and, lke, they're new ones being announced now

the zoo - sat nov 22

the third ‘omen thrashing society’ punk rock gala is well underway with multi-instrumental rockabilly-punkers the dead ringers as i arrive, and i’m as impressed by the quality of their songwriting as the tidiness of their smokin’ delivery.
the entertainment continues between bands with bertie paige of the rock n roll revue singing meatloaf’s bat out of hell while sexy dancing with a lucky audience member.
with little ado it’s postal discretion’s turn to unleash their oi! punk spirit on the liquor lubed legions, and their punked up cover of johnny cash’s fulsome prison blues is a surprisingly good twist.
alyssa henning then shows us how to spin one, then many more hool-a-hoops to the fitting tune of foxy lady, oddly done by someone other than jimi hendrix.
a drink or two later and it’s the prog-punk band with growing buzz the mercy beat who open on a funky note before indulging in some hi-energy punk rock in born yesterday.
miss b.b. le buff engages in a spot of nipple-swinging bump & grind with the audience before the hosts arrive to deliver the thrash promised on the bill poster.
opening with their favourite themes of violation and depravity are tonight’s home team spitfireliar, who introduce their new guitar gun eddie of butterfingers with a warm zoo welcome. mouldy loses his pants four tracks in during kunt, before a benny hill-themed caper gives the girls from the rock n roll revue an entertaining main-stage cameo. their tighter sound holds together through another left-field cover in mudhoney’s touch me i’m sick, and continues to impress through to their heart felt tribute to alcohol, which triggers a mass stage invasion in a fitting closer.
