Thanks 4 the add. Maybe u remember this moment, I'll never 4get it :) In 94 you were in York, Pa for a concert. My friend and I were in the front row with a poster message using the names of your songs and u were singing while you were trying 2 read it and started laughing. :) This is lame but wasn't 4 me... hey john thanks for the add, i just thought i would stop by and express my thanks, i just recently graduated basic military training from the air force and they played your song letters from home every week in church and it was very helpful. it kept me strong when being away from my family, you have no idea how much we looked forward to hearing your song every week, it gave us the strength to go one more week, i just thought you should know how your song affects the men and women of basic training, thank you again

Thank you John for adding me to your friends, I have every single CD you've ever put out, I used to write to your mom when she handled your fan club back when you first started and she wrote me also a few times. I will tell you the truth my brother was murdered on 2/23/90 and I was in really, really bad shape emotionally and mentally, however I went to 92.5 WXTU's (In Philadelphia) annual birthday bash and there was this man Named John Michael Montgomery who simply amazed me and for the first time in I don't know how long I walked away with a smile on my face, you don't even know nor could you begin to know what your music did for me at a time when I myself wanted to die to be with my brother, Thank You John, very much!
I even had my brother Jerry's kids (he was the one murdered in front of his kids) singing your songs as we drove, and today my neice Megan sings them to her two babies, especially the Grundy County Auction, that and I swear among others :) are thier favorites. It will be 20 years since Jer's murder and even though it feels like 20 minutes your music soothes my soul in ways you could never imagine.....
