is it great?...i love the classics...never to be forgotten, for sure...but what illuminates so clear is the contrast of the contemporary to the brilliance & innovation of the past...never to tread those roads again...Instead, a downward spiral of plagiarism and the production of more disingenuous disposables...

all hail Howard Hawks, King Vidor, Frank Capra, & Billy Wilder...

Frank Capra is the epitome of Greatness!!! The Greatest Director of alltime!! Principals, values and morals. His films conveyed allegorical principals. Those principals were derived biblically.

I have been viewing the movie “It‘s a Wonderful Live” Directed by Frank Capra. It always reminds me of the lecture I went to in the late seventies .
I saw a flyer on campus that the director Frank Caper was to be on campus and he was to show the movie “It’s a Wonderful Live” that night and I was very excited . I went in to the small auditorium , and sat down. Frank Capra was very close to me , and we made eye contact, he talked about making movies and the filming of his movies and other ending that were make, it was fascinating. Mr. Capra was , only one roll over from me, he than said that we were going to see the movie “Meet John Doe” with Gary Copper , on of my favorites . After the movie , he talked about the making of the movie and problems, and the I found fascinating again.
Than Frank Capra said that we would now be listening to the radio play that he produced and directed ,with the original cast . At this time most people arose from there seats to leave. Frank Capra stool up ,red in the face and with a firm voice said: “ You will never learn anything about films or life if you can not learn to listen” and than sat down. I had a wonderful time listening to the radio play “It’s a wonderful Life”
