I know it was ages ago, but I just wondered how it went when you stormed the lecture halls in Cambridge the day after The Twang were supposed to play in Norwich?
How many songs did you manage to play before getting kicked out?
Was lovely to chat, even though the gig was cancelled,

hi, yes i did make it almost didn't though, they said they were full and had no tickets left, then we got chased down the street by a woman saying they had 4 tickets left!! i was so happy, even more happy when i got in and heard you's play!! then you's got that kid up to play jingle bells on the harmonica!! amazing!! i had seen you's play before at the forum in darlo, when you were called free runner.
think i still have the CD i bought there!!
anyway im babbling, amazing to see you the other night hopefully see more of you in the future!!

hey am fine thanks. yeah i just got an email today saying it was cancelled until further notice! hopefully they will still be able to play at a later date! was really looking forward to it likes! where about in newcastle are the band from because i come from that neck of the woods and was just wondering ..?

Static Rain is a 2 piece band from the beautiful Yorkshire town of Keighley. Band members Tony Garthwaite and Jacob Barlow formed the band in 2008, driven by a joint passion for both electronic music and retro synths. The music they produce can be described as electronic pop with catchy choruses and memorable riffs that are prominent in all of their songs, making them popular with a very wide audience.

Following their initial success on MySpace, Static Rain continues to build a solid fan base and a strong reputation as a live act. The band is currently looking for gigs from June 09 onwards throughout the whole of the UK.

Better late than never lol. Yeah the gig was amazing and i already got my tickets for the Carling Academy Newcastle. I think i might be going with my mate or my girlfriend. Depends really on whats happening at the time. Well I hope your enjoying Brazil. I am not at all jealous... :P
