haha oh hi there buddy, how have you been?

i didnt recognize your picture at first, i had to dig into the albums to realize it was you,

a free recording/editing program that i've herd about (though never used) is http://audacity.sourceforge.net/download/windows (i gave you the windows link cuz i'm a nice guy)

http://free-loops.com/free-vst-plugins.php (for audacity, if you need help getting started)

http://www.dmoz.org/Computers/Multimedia/Music_and_Audio/Software/Plug-ins/ (free synths for audacity)

however, i have never really played with it much so i don't know how great it really is, i just know it's pretty big in the linux/open source type world.

if you feel like spending money (or torrenting) i really suggest Orion since i know you're running windows, it's the program we used for most or all of the music in facing perition.
An awesome synth that we used a lot in that band was Vanguard, infact, i still use it now since there is a mac version of that synth,
I would recommend logic studio but your a windows guy.
If nothing else, if you need an interface and sounds, you could prolly get a cheap m-box which would come with protools (and i think Reason adapted comes with protools now, which is nice)

i would recommend pro-tools right away since ur on windows, but, the problem is you have to spend money to run pro-tools, because pro-tools requires a compatible interface to be attached for the program to run. (pain in the ass)

anyways, there ya go, hope that isn't too much of a mess and if you need anything else or whatever let me know,

by the way, i'm good... transfering to Kent state because OU was kinda boring for me, and they were kinda dicking me around, as to where at Kent i'm already accepted into my damn major. Lately i've just been playing too much fallout 3 and recording a litt
