This Saturday Night, August 16th at InCahoots, a raffle will be held to raise money to help Ernie Powers' family with funeral costs. * ALL funds raised from the raffle or any donations made will be passed on directly to his family. I remember all the great times we had together at the bar...laughing, drinking, dancing, telling stories. I know he is in a better place, but I still would rather have here with me!

Dalton	Aug 9, 2008 3:04 AM Very sad news some of you may not have heard yet. Ernie Powers passed away this week. Ernie was diagnosed last month with lung cancer, and spent the better part of July in the hospital. He was found on Thurs. morning at his apartment. How he passed we don't know yet. Ernie also had a couple of "mini strokes" over the last 7 -8 months as well I will send out another E-Mail about services if and when I find anything out. If any of you hear anything PLEASE let me know. There are A LOT of us out there that consider Ernie a FRIEND and would appreciate any info we can pass on to them. I will also pass on any info about any kind of fundraiser or memorial get together that I might hear about & would appreciate the same in return. Please keep Ernie in your thoughts. He was a part (BIG or small) of all our lives!!
