We are pleased to announce the launch of our official website: www.redhookfoodvendors.com. Effective September 15th, 2009 this website will become the primary source of information and contact for the Red Hook Food Vendors.

Dear Friends,

We officially opened our 09 season last weekend (May 2nd) and, despite a rainy start, we have great enthusiasm & hopes this season will bring lots of great sunny (and delicious) weekends for your enjoyment!
We also have many exciting news we'd like to share, some of them described below:

-We continue our satellite operations at the Brooklyn Flea & DUMBO pop-ups, which is already up and running!

-We plan on extending operations at Coney Island's Festival by the Sea, beginning May 15th!

-Winning designs of the AFHny design contest for the Red Hook Food Vendors will be publicly announced & displayed this season (date..place..time to be announced soon!). We would like to invite our fans..supporters to be a part of this important process to ultimately decide the future look of our affair!

-Our new website under construction...more on this soon.

Spring is finally upon us & we are gearing up for our 09 season fast & furiously!!
We will soon be updating you with our official start date (so far is tentatively set for May 2nd) as well as lots of exciting news, projetcs & surprises from the Red Hook Food Vendors!!

Dear Friends,

We would like to inform you that our operation for the 2008 season in Red Hook Park will wrap up this Sunday, October 26th. Our satellite stands at the Brooklyn Flea will continue to operate through December 21st.

On behalf of the Red Hook Food Vendors, I would like to thank you all for your continued support and patronage. This has certaintly been our shortest season & our most challenging one yet. In spite of a high emotional & financial burden for our vendors, our strong spirit and good faith prevailed, thanks in great part to your support.

The good news, of course, is that with a 6 year permit we can now certaintly look forward to seeing you again next season without delays! When Spring comes again, so will the The Red Hook Food Vendors.

Dear friends,

Thank you all for your support and interest in our affair.
We are humbled to learn of the many messages received asking when we will start our season.
We are hoping to open our affair as soon as possible. However, there are still compliance issues that need to be cleared before we can officially start.
We hope to be able to clear these issues in the next few weeks & hopefully start our season by the end of June or beginning of July. I'm so glad you've all be extended till the end of the regular 2007 season. I have high hopes to seeing all the vendors back again next year.

You made my summer weekends feel like I was back at home with my mama y abuelita.
