HAPPY NEW YEAR to all!,I have loved THE CARPENTERS all my life when I was a kid I lived on NEWVILLE AVE in DOWNEY Ca. so did they,and I loved having them as friends,and hearing them on the radio,and seeing them on TV was always fun,then to go by thir house,and say hi,and they would always be so cool!,HALOWEEN,CHRISTMAS,and all HOLIDAYS they always made alot of fun as well,and I still love thir music!,DANNY FOSTER.

I was in 8th grade when the carpenters came to AZ and I saw them in concert. I was a fan because I was a musician and loved the harmonies. I learned how to work in a studio and do my own harmonies because of them.
They were way beyond their own time in technology.

Tnx for the add! It would make my day to see The Carpenters inducted! They are as much a part of today, as they were..long ago. Thier songs are immortalized within the chambers of my memories growing up; the beauty and perfection of their music.. has stood the test of time... they deserve this recognition!
