man, i wish i had taken a closer look at your guys page earlier, i just moved out of the d.c. area, would have loved to get involved while i was up there. but i guess technically im not a student, since ive had to put off paying for and going to college while i dealt with a posession charge and the insuing debt acrued from late in my senior year of high school...

IT WAS 40 YEARS AGO TODAY


Friday night, June 6, 1969. The police came to my house and took me from bed and the arms of the love of my life for being a hippie. I was locked in a jail cell for the next seventeen months, with nothing to read except . . . the Bible. (Coincidence? I think not.) No exercise, no sunshine, no music. Except for the futility of it all, and the monumental stupidity of the folks who’d taken charge of running my life, I had a pretty good time. I was housed right across from Timothy Leary’s one-man cell for a while—he was also in for weed—a real honor. I was getting like three years four months and twelve days life experience for every month I was locked up; a better education for the real world it turned out than college.

Having lost all respect for “the authorities”, when I was released on November 7, 1970, with a five-years-to-life sentence to be imposed if I failed to complete five years formal probation, and knowing there was no way I could go that long without doing something more fun than they thought appropriate, I decided to take off and have as much of a life as possible before they got their misguided hands on me again. So living every day like it could be my last, I ended up having a WAY better life than I probably would have had otherwise. I finally wore out this lucky old body and turned myself in, and with the help of a NORML lawyer, I got totally legal in 2003.

I’d now just like to thank the guy who set me and nine other hippies—including his own younger brother—up for drug sales to get off his burglary, resisting arrest, and assault on two police officers charges. Chuck, I don’t know about the rest of the guys, but except for losing Gerri, you did me a good turn. Heh.

You have said a lot about changing, and making better the planet on witch we all call home.

And you no the trouble that it is in.

And then just like every one else, you will not utter the two words…LEGALIZE HEMP…The only two words that can make a difference. The one sure way there is, and it is ILLEGAL? What the hell are you doing there if you don’t understand the reality of this?

All those billions of our dollars that you are spending to save our economy are of no use until they are being used to change from the big oil strangle hold, to a very sustainable renewable every year, HEMP economy.

Plant HEMP on every empty spot on earth…

This is what Mother Earth needs to maybe survive what damage has been done to her.


This is the only way to fix the global warming. Think of all the trees you will be saving. All that extra oxygen!.

This is what the automobile company’s need to rebound, change all cars to run on HEMP OIL.
Give them something to keep them busy.

Do you see where drilling more holes and sucking out the black death will really help? ..naaa
Money better spent? Bad joke on all of us.


Hemp has already saved this country many times in the past. Please, give it another chance.

While working as an independent photo-journalist taking pics of the winner of the K3 Show Down II (Car Show) one night out I was arrested by the Kankakee City Police Department for Obstructing Justice and the winner's car was impounded.

My official "crime" is actually taking pictures of the police while harassing citizens! We are organizing a rally against them and their pattern of misconduct and abuse. And forwarding all information to the Department of Justice and the Illinois Attorney General.

They impounded his car on 6-13-09 and threw me on the ground and took me to jail for obstructing justice for taking pictures of the police harassing us. I was about 20 feet or more away from the scene.The arresting officer was J. English.

Also, on 7.13-09 when I went to get a copy of the police report and asked to file a complaint Inspector Donald C. Flett and Shift Commander G. Foster searched my personal property without my consent and threatened me with felony charges for recording them badger me about filing a complaint.
