i already gave up on my new goal (i always was a quitter, just ask my middle school band teacher). i still do love you though.

new musical loves: death cab for cutie (the new album is brilliant), showbread, emery (who i am seeing on saturday), the decemberists are also swell. cornerstone is a must this summer. also a must: making the most of the three weeks this summer that my mother will be in canada and my sister will be in austria and i will have a lovely three bedroom/three bathroom/two balcony apartment ten minutes outside of minneapolis to myself! it will be a grand summer!

p.s. you should work as a counselor or nightwatch person at this summer's senior teen two camp.

i would start this comment by telling you i miss you, but the thought of getting mail makes me to giddy to think of anything else. i love getting mail!!!!!!!!! today i got a package from my mom containing my yearbook, "searching for god knows what" (by the author of "blue like jazz" which is an incredible book), apples, and fudge. i basically skipped from the mail center back to my dorm. receiving a story about pirates (or really anything) from the illustrious sarah green would illicit a dance...right there in the mail room.

but anyway, how are you? i went to this lecture the other day about how media is being used in africa to educate the people about aids prevention. we saw some film of poems, dramatic recitations, and skits....it was really cool, and has been yieldling good results, and it reminded me of you.

other highlights of life in south carolina: i worked out today for the first time in many months (i rowed for 15 min, ran for 30, and lifted for another 30, and ran stairs), i am friends with an indian boy which makes jaime jealous, and i am smitten with a truly emo boy that i have yet to speak to (sigh), and i leave to visit jaime in 5 days. bad things: i have a paper due tomorrow, one test monday, and two tests tuesday.

this maybe should have been a message because it got real lengthy real fast, but oh well.

wow, i fell priveleged to be the record holder for leaving you the most comments...you are currently in iowa, and i'm praying you have a wonderful time...which i'm sure you will. you should write me a long message upon your return telling me lots of lovely details. and the only way i'll follow that movie project is by you telling me things...so do, especially if you go to the first day of shooting...love you
