No matter what side of the aisle you're on- we need John McCain & Sarah Palin in the White House. They're not seeking the office to bash gays or overturn Roe vs. Wade. They are going to lead American troops to victory in the War on Terror. Between them they have 3 sons serving in the Military, so we can trust they will do this with great care. John McCain served around 20 years in the Military, spent about 5 as a prisoner of war suffering merciless torture even refusing special treatment to leave before his turn though he could have due to his father's service and position. He's even greatly responsible for the surge in Iraq that is leading us to victory today. He warned years ago about the looming economic crisis on the deaf ears of a Democratic Congress. Now we are in a global recession. McCain and Palin have proven records of cutting taxes & spending. As Governor of Alaska, Palin quickly turned a deficit into a surplus by cutting spending not raising taxes. She is one of a handful of Governors who actually has veto power and she's used it. She's taken on big oil companies and put government back in the hands of the people. Sarah is exactly who we need to lead our nation into energy independence which will make us more secure on matters of defense and the economy. Both Senator McCain & Governor Palin talk straight and lead with honor. They are exactly who we need to lead us through these tough times. C'mon America- let's vote for the Hero & the Hottie!

In the wee hours of 9/06, my Mother's house burnt down. She is 65, widowed and disabled facing 2 major surgeries which she just learned about 9/04. Baby Bro and his family live with her, so she won't be alone. Thankfully, all 5 were awakened by neighbors and escaped unharmed. But, the house that was paid off is a total loss.

After the sudden death of my StepDad 3/15/06 in New Orleans, Mom & Baby Bro struggled and the insurance lapsed. This home was set up in a trust for Baby Bro to live out his life and then to pass to his children.
