Thanks for be-friending! I've still got "Nightcrawler" as the song on my profile-although I always liked "Whiskey Woman" too...

I don't even know where to begin to describe this band or the talent that lay within. Often described as the local Rolling Stones, you would be hard pressed to disagree with that statement. Having said that, I would have to add that they added something more to that and are completely original sounding. They had one of the tightest rhythm sections you have ever heard, that laid the foundation for an incredible guitar player. Mark Doyle is part Keith Richards, Eric Clapton and Johnny Winter mixed together. Add to that his own unique flair, and you have one monster guitar player. Put Joe Whitings soulful voice on top of it and you have thunder and lightning. You had to see this band to believe them. I can only urge you to go to www. markdoyle. com and get the Jukin' Bone LP's that are offered on one CD to hear what I am trying to express. You should check out Mark's solo work as well.
You won't regret it!

Thanks for the add. It never fails that when I view the Jukin' Bone page and Cara Lynn comes on the speakers I am more convinced than ever that SHOULD HAVE been a hit single if I ever heard one. Oh, what might have been. Everyone who views this page should check out the archive store on markdoyle.com for some awesome music from the vaults.

Howdy,
I was digging thru the bins of a used record store one day and found one of your albums-( previously had never heard of you guys)- and I fell in love with your music- I was playing it really loud!! It seemed like you were extreme enough to never go mainstream- but I like that.
I wish you well and I am going to check out your new stuff-
