For National Bird Day, ROAR will be teaming up with Mobilization for Animals to demo and leaflet at one of the largest bird stores in this area, Bird Paradise. Maybe you've seen the late night commercial on the local channel where Bird Paradise brags about having thousands of birds for sale. View their websites: birdparadise.biz and mybirdstore.com. Make sure to check out their "Bird TV" video. On their own websites, they claim they are the "World's Largest Bird Store". Let's tell them that profiting from the exploitation of birds is not something to be proud of. Join us on National Bird Day and start off your new year being active for the animals! WHEN: Saturday, January 5, 2008 from 2:30pm-4:30pm WHERE: Bird Paradise 551 E Rt. 130 S Burlington, NJ 08016 RSVP appreciated but not required. ROAR - Reach Out for An…	Sep 29, 2007 5:12 AM we need to start planning our national bird day activity/event. last year a bunch of teens that i work with and i did some awesome educational activities with young ones at a child care center. i also hosted a community "birds are more beautiful wild" coloring/drawing contest that went over very well. it was great! thanks for you kind words!
