SHORT STORY COMPETITION

1st prize: £150
+ Willesden Herald mug inscribed “The Willesden Short Story Prize 2009”
& not forgetting immortality

2 runners up: £100 each

Closing date for receipt of entries: 19 December 2008

The winner and two runners up will be published in a special edition
of Pulp. net. (http://www. pulp. net)

Winners and short-listed (up to 10) will be eligible for inclusion in New Short Stories 3 (Pretend Genius Press, 2009).

There will be a results event in central London in Spring 2009.

There is no theme. The word limit is 8,000 or the highly variable
attention span of our short-listing team, whichever expires first.

Entry is free.

All for love of the short story. As we said before, this is the first literary
entity since Shakespeare to offer both love and immortality.
