A twelve track, 22 minute sound art project, that is quite a departure from usual Operations material, dipping into the realms of glitch and noise using broken keyboards, effects boxes and oscillators and digital editing.

Self-released and strictly limited to 30 copies for the whole world. Once it's sold out it sold out for good.

Can be purchased using the PayPal Buy Now button on my blog. Samples can heard on my MySpace page.

For if you are a promoter / booker; this might be interesting - at least; we hope you think it is ;-)

We are I Wish I Knew, a five-piece indie/postrock/shoegazer band from Utrecht, The Netherlands.

From April 30 to May 8 next year we plan to do a short tour in England.

The music that we play has been referred to as a mixture of bands like My Bloody Valentine, Mogwai and Dead Can Dance.

SAKURA HITS LONDON / ATPR UK MEETUP

Sakura is about to hit London for the first time, at a great venue in Stoke Newington in East London. The date is August the 16th, and it would be brilliant to get some local support for the night and the bands playing. There is talk of possibly getting a coach...

The music policy will be some blend of hardcore, post rock and punk orientated things, as epic as it is noisey, as groovy as it is angular. Certainly one that is not to be missed...

FEATURING:

- Roll Call For The Second Sight

- Cherry But No Cake

- The Psycheout Musikland Big Band

- Do Re Mi Fa So La Ti

- Tommy Comstock / James Barret


Some info about the venue from a website:

"Ryan's Bar, with its bright and cheery yellow exterior, is one of the slightly more alternative places in Stoke Newington. There's a heavy focus on music and on any given night the basement plays host to a wide range of live acts, along with DJs upstairs almost every day of the week. A larger than average beer garden also compares favourably to other nearby pubs and the cheap Thai food will fill a hole perfectly well while you drink."

The nearest tube station is Manor House, which is just five stops from King's Cross, and there are nearby overland stations as well.



This is also the 'official' UK meetup for members of afterthepostrock. com, quite possibly the best music / general forum in existence.
