I saw this film in Columbus, Ohio and can't tell you how much I enjoyed it. A special treat for me was to get to meet the men responsible for putting this great film together! Viewing this movie was my birthday treat to me....and I loved every minute of it! I hope this wonderful film gets all the attention it deserves! Great work...can't wait to see what you do next!

Well done! Very very impressive! Brought back so many memories, of course, but I loved the way the movie was put together! It's such a unique subject, I was amazed you were able to capture the spirit of it so acurately. If I had another arm, I'd give it 3 thumbs up.

Thanks, dude. I'm assuming you're talking about the ancient one (c. 1946) of the Cavaliers when they were still a Boy Scout troop in Chicago's Logan Square neighborhood. Believe it or not, the corps that today has won 20 world and national championships back then featured a bunch of guys who didn't know the first thing about playing drums or horns.
Read about the whole journey in "Building the Green Machine." Published this fall by Savas Beatie; available later this summer at www.cavaliers.org.
Cheers! And thanks for the add!
