Next Exhibition; AUTO ITALIA SOUTH EAST PRESENTS 'ROMANTICS' Private view Tuesday 21st of August, with an artists discussion at 1pm on Saturday the 25th of August. The show runs until the following week. "We are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively. There is no such thing as death, life is only a dream and we are the imagination of ourselves." Bill Hicks The artists come together to provide an escape from reality by blurring the margins between observation and imagination, construction and destruction. The artists are Tom Barnett, James Capper, Ross Chalmers, Alina Dolgin, Alicia Logan, Emily Mould, Matthew Musgrave and Robert Sherwood. There will be a performance at 8pm by Jack Catling. Often developed from personal insights, into the remnants of other human's activities, past and present, the work evokes mythological narratives within the iconography and imagery of popular culture, literature and religious mysticism.
