Thanks for the add Mr. Eriksen, I love your music, it is like hopping in a time machine for me, and going back to a simpler time where people put their heart and soul into music, and where music was a way of life. Your tunes are hugely inspiring, and especially the dedication to the history of the music which is so often neglected. Hope you can come to Louisiana sometime!

Tim, I appreciate your adding me as a friend. Your voice and ability to play so many different instruments is amazing but I am wondering who comes up with the ideas for your videos? I find the shooting locations and the ideas on how to use the sounds of nature to compliment your music fascinating. The videos are the exact images I envision when I listen to traditional appalachian style music and the way things such as frogs singing, crickets chirping, and water trickling are incorporated into your music is just fascinating.
Love the Sacred Harp singing too!

I first stumbled across your music on youtube while looking up some tracks from cold mountain and I was blown away!

I started playing the fiddle not too long ago and hopefully listening to music like yours and asking the right questions will help me further along my skill level...

Tim, I learned about your music through the Cold Mountain movie (as did many others). I have been smitten by the grassroots movement ever since. I am a musician as well, and though I already liked traditional Irish/Appalachian Bluegrass, I feel that your music takes it to a whole other level. I am happy to have been added to your space, and look forward to seeing one of your shows.

my favorite type of banjo is a mountain hillbilly banjo just because they have a longer neck on it for more notes and they sound good.
