Or "Superman" by Five for Fighting, OR the acoustic cover of Outkast's song "hey ya" by Obadiah Parker (Matt Weddle), go Nick, the world (or just me) wants to hear it.

I know it's a little bit old, but I'd love to hear you do "The Show Must Go On" by Queen. They're not usually in line with your musical inclinations, but there might be some crossover on this one.

He sold me a copy he had...which reminds me I still got to give him the $10 for it. Glad to hear that song will be on the next one! It's too good....for it not to be. Hope all is well!

I think it will be great. I will get with you as soon as I hear more about when we plan on starting. By the way, I picked up a copy of the cd...you'd probably be embarassed by me saying this, but I actually sing along with it in the car....hehe...I definitely have my favorites. Btw, what happended to the "Oh California, I want you so bad" song? I love it...decided not to put it on the cd?

So did you just move to Boston to move there or for the music scene? This project has about 30 or so people on board right now, but I am going to have two roles, one as a writer for this music publication that will drive people to the website about the NKY/Cincy music scene. The other is on-screen talent that goes to music venues and talks with bands about their music in addition to talking to locals at these bars/clubs that the bands are performing at. I actually talked to my editor about you. If you'd be interested, I'd like to write a piece about you and your journey into the music scene...possibly here, Chicago, and now Boston. What do you think? I won't be starting this stuff up until a couple of months from now. Just let me know if you'd like to.

You're in Boston? I actually have been living in the NKY/Cincinnati area for a little over a year now....was going to catch up with you...about to start working on a music project here. What are you up to?

I'm great! I'm still on vacation for another two days. Yea! I am so excited you moved to Boston. I wish you had stayed in Ohio, but seriously how much do we see each other when you are here? I will probably see you just as much now as I did before! ;-D In fact, I may see you more. I WANT TO COME VISIT IN BOSTON! It is definitely one of my favorite cities! And we can go to NYC too!!! Can't wait can't wait can't wait!

I played Midstride for Tim and so you have a volunteer west coast drummer because it's in 5\8? 5\4? Well 5, dangit. He just loved it. So catchy.

I wish we lived closer! I'm rocking some harmonies to your new songs... I really really love "I wish I could love you"... because I can, and I will, and I'm not sorry! =D Nice range--love the flip into falsetto. Gets me. And the octave scales up the piano into the chorus the second time. Awesome! (I sound like such a geek right now!)

Hey Nick. I haven't been to yourspace in awhile. You write excellent songs. I didn't know you moved back to KY either.

Nick, sorry I didn't get to see you when you were in town last. I feel like I've been running around like a chicken with my head cut off all summer. But call me next time you are in and I promise we will get together.
And just to show you how behind I am (especially with MySpace, since I'm never on here) I love the songs you have up now. Very awesome. Especially Midstride.

Nick's rendition of "When I grow up" completely changed my perspective of the song from "Vapid, wanting to have boobies" to "Oh, I do see why one may want to be famous."
Thanks!

Hey Nick, thanks for taking the time to comment! Glad you like the "Super Secret Grand Finale" song... ;-)
How are you enjoying your new home? I hope all is going well for you... is "Midstride" a new song? I really, really like it. Is that you singing the harmonies too?
take care,
Sue

Thanks again for buying my CDs, btw... I hope you enjoy them, and maybe they'll keep you entertained on your long drive...
Good luck in your new home, and I hope we keep in touch!

I gotta say, I really love most of your songs. The one I am not crazy about, however, is "Smile". I think the lyrics are a little to raw and out of sync with the tone of the other stuff going on. But Definitely Maybe and Midstride are favorites. And I LOVE the cover of Midstride.

In every way, but especially lyrically and harmonically, "Definitely maybe" is your best song yet. I can't wait to listen to the next one!
