And my current helix used to have a keloid too, but tea tree is getting rid of that bad boy. Nah, they're 9g. Which is weird, I was gonna start stretching freshman year. But then I just never got started, hahah. But maybe I'll do it this summer. Except now it's like the ~kwl~ thing to do. Ooh, I really like the first one. And that's not bad at all for quality jewelry. That's the toughest part. When I bought the nose hoop, the guy gave me like, one smidge larger and I basically gauged my nose, so when I went to put my normal stud in, it like, sunk in. It sucked. That's wicked lame about your job. I mean, I could understand maybe liprings or something, because they're really noticible, but nose studs aren't even that bad. But I also work at a pub, so I guess it doesn't matter- hahah. Action Ink really is good. Plus they're wicked friendly people. And if you like, lose a ball to a hoop or something, they'll give you one. And they're just really accomodating. But let me know if you go there and how you like it! But I definitely think I'm gonna start ordering from there. Because it sounds like a really good site, and I wanna stick to one place for buying my jewelry. I loove helix's. I would get more if mine weren't so prone to keloids and taking forever to heal. Are you gonna put thin hoops in them, or studs? Well, Coyle doesn't let you have more than two ear piercings in at a time- and no facial piercings. But I really wanna get my nipples done, and I want a rook for my left ear. Right now I just have first and second holes, a helix on my left, and a tragus on my right, my nose, and my navel. I'll probably go for third holes, or something of that sort. I just hate how long cartilege piercings take to heal.

May 31, 2008 5:45 PM Yeah, I'm never getting anything done but bottom holes with a gun again, because now there's just a hard little spot in my ear where the piercing used to be. Way to go Claires and naive little Hanna. But yeah, you definitely do a lot of research, hahah. BTW, how high are you gauging up to? Because I have some 9s, and I have no clue why. But they're still all packaged, I got them from hot topic. They're just silver ones. Well the keloids suck. They don't hurt or whatever, but they just get in the way when I'm cleaning the piercing and they hinder the healing process. But the tragus one is nearly gone, because I have some tea tree oil left over from my navel piercing and I've been using that on it. But I'm not sure whether I should get a stud or a barbell, so I'll have to research that. You're lucky about the back sleeping though, I can never sleep on my back. Action Ink is really good, I go there for all my piercings. And the guy who does it is very chill. I'm not sure if he'll pierce it and put in a retainer, because he didn't even ask and just used a corkscrew on mine. But I'm sure you can just take the screw out after you get it done and put the retainer in. My work allows piercings, but Coyle doesn't. So I had to get my nose done right after school ended so it could heal over summer. So lame. Thanks for the site though, I'll have to check it out. 'Cause I need new jewelry, and now that I'm working all the time and stuff- I can buy quality jewelry instead of being like "mom can you buy me these 3$ stud sets." Hahaha. So exactly what piercings do you have done already?

I got my first helix done @claire's when I was in 8th grade with a gun, and it just would not heal. so I had to take it out. but I've gotten my first and second holes done with guns, just because those holes heal so easy, no matter what. yeah, I have such a tendancy to get keloids, and I have no clue why. I've gotten them with every piercing I've gotten, except my normal ear piercings. and it's a freakin' pain in the ass. because I do the cleaning with soap and whatever, but I think it's just because I'm really active, so scar tissue builds and whatnot. but thanks! I'll definitely start doing those, because I really wanna get this hoop out and put a stud or barbell in. I go to action ink, and they pierce everything with a hoop- which I never really minded, but after multiple piercings there, their hoops just don't work well for me. hahah small ears! the thing I hate about unusual ear piercings is that they usually are harder to clean because the placement is weird. and I can't sleep on the side where my tragus is pierced, because the hoop is larger and hurts when I lay on it. which is wicked lame. but yeah, your glasses look like they'd be fine. and my nose only took like two months tops to heal. and you can get little clear studs in case you need to take it out for work (or in my case, school). they're really low maintainence after the first month. but, where do you buy your jewelry? because I'm looking for a small, silver hoop for my nose- I wanna see what it'd look like. because I bought one from action ink, but it's big, and I don't like it as much.

May 31, 2008 3:49 PM yeah, I know. no one has 'different' ear piercings now. half the time when people see my tragus, they're just like 'wtf?' because it's apparently a weird spot to pierce. and people think the weird ear piercings are gonna hurt like a bitch- but they're really not bad at allll. um. let's see. I got my tragus sometime during winter. but I had to take it out for like a 5 minute track race @states. and after I put it back in, the healing process went downhill and it got wicked infected and got like, a bump around it. but now the bump's leaving. and I reallllyy wanna change the jewelry, but I'm not sure if I can yet. because it's a kind of big hoop that was supposed to make the cleaning and healing easier, so you could twist it, but you're right, it's really just a hassel and causing irritation. what place did you go to? and why didn't they want to use a barbell? that's weird. because for a spot as small as the rook, I'd think a barbell would be easier. you should definitely do it! just be careful you don't bump it around a lot at first, 'cause then you get little keloid things, and they take foreeever to go away. but yeah, your nose looks like it'd be good for it. just don't get it so far back, like some people get it like on the side of that bump on their nose. and I'm just like, wtf?

May 31, 2008 3:07 PM that looks so good! and cute gauges, btw. the good thing about the rook is that it's really out of the way. my tragus is a hoop, and it gets in the way with a lot of stuff, so it's hard to heal. but the rook will be easier to maintain I think. your nose bleeds when you get it done, but it doesn't hurt at all. the only part that hurts is when he puts the corkscrew in, because he has to twist it a bunch. you should totally do it though.

Just laugh at all the people that ran out to buy the biggest vehicles they could find a year or 2 ago. Where did all the HUMMERS go!!!????
